It was a little chilly for our family photo shoot at Zilker park but the pictures were well worth it. Sondra ended up ordering one of our gallery wraps-- it came out AMAZING. One of my favorites so far!

Mayfield Park

Today we visited Mayfield Park. We walked the trail and found a ton of great places to do portraits. I found an awesome tree to climb on. Maybe one day we could convince a bride to climb on it. It would be an awesome shot. The park was so peaceful and beautiful, I didn't want to leave. The weather was perfect also. At the house there were a lot of peacocks, and they were very pretty and friendly. I guess they're used to people visiting them. I couldn't believe that we've lived so close to this beautiful park for so long and this was only the first time we've visited it. I definitely want to come back to do some portraits here.

Soccer Zone

We just finished a week of shooting at Soccer Zone in Cedar Park. We took photos of the academy and soccer tots classes. The kids were adorable-- as always AND they were very entertaining. The whole week was a blast. Danny and I even got to kick the ball around a little bit.

Tuesday

We had a nice evening networking with other vendors from the Austin Wedding Guide. The Neill- Cochran House Museum was the perfect setting for the event. Danny and I were treated to some very tasty food provided by Sterling Affairs-- Danny LOVED the shrimp. We also got to try some DELICIOUS mini wedding cakes by Simon Lee Bakery. HEB Blooms had a few bouquets and flower arrangements set up and the Musical Discovery Chamber Players were entertaining us with their music. We got to sample some wine from Water to Wine. The White Cranberry Whisper was by far our favorite.

Lovely

We recently visited Lovey Austin, a consignment boutique on south first. They offer a variety of gently used fashions, eclectic jewelry, furniture and artwork. They also feature several local designers and artists. Lovely has some pretty awesome, pretty interesting stuff. Danny and I have a few photos for sale so go check it out.
